Currently working for That's TV Oxfordshire, running the 6pm news show, including; researching, interviewing, self-shooting, editing, scripting and running of the overall show.

Skills:

Journalism: Written published features, news, and online journalism articles.
Camera & Editing Skills:  Ability to use a range of cameras, lighting and sound equipment to create news packages for broadcast. Completed two Film Production modules during my MA, for which I researched, filmed and edited two documentaries (both graded with distinctions).

Excellent communicator and effective interviewer: This is demonstrated in my documentary 'Body Talk' where I conducted interviews and attained very personal and emotional responses from my interviewees.

Presenting the pre-recorded 6pm news show broadcast on Freeview Channel 7

Website Design/Online Journalism | Body Talk

Wrote and designed my own website using WordPress.org. I used plugins to create a website with a navigation and aesthetic i desired. I took many of the photographs & filmed and edited all of the videos. This was created as part of my Press Association training.

Team Leader & Social Media Manager | International Women’s Day

Lead and directed a group of 5 students to film and photograph secret events held in Newcastle on March 8th. I was also in charge of the Twitter and Facebook pages for the event. This was in-conjunction with a project called Pop-up News UK which included liasing with journalism students all over the world.

Live Camera Operator  | JesmondLocal.com Resident Debate Responsible for the organisation, but mainly for the filming of Jesmondlocal.com streamed debate about anti-social behavior. I operated the camera which tracked audience reaction.
